As a thank you to those who serve our country, many of our partner airlines are offering generous complimentary airline lounge access to military service members. A breakdown of some of those partners is as follows:
U.S. military personnel traveling in uniform can access domestic and international American Airlines Admirals Club locations, with the exception of the Airspace Lounge in San Diego (SAN) and the JAL Sakura Lounge in Honolulu (HNL). To access the club, you will need to provide a Military ID and a boarding pass for a same-day flight operated by American. Immediate family members or up to two guests are also welcome to join you!
U.S. military personnel who would like to access United Airlines United Club lounges must either be in uniform or show present leave orders or rest and recuperation papers. Lounge access is available the same day of your United-operated flight, for those who present a Military ID, boarding pass and sponsoring documentation. Subject to the location’s capacity, family members with gate passes or those who are traveling on the same flight as the military member may also access the lounge.
Alaska Lounge Day Passes are complimentary for U.S. military personnel traveling on official government-sponsored travel booked through SATO and ticketed to fly on an Alaska flight departing within 3 hours. All other Active Duty military personnel with a valid ID may purchase a day pass at the discounted rate of $30 when traveling on Alaska. Available in all Alaska Lounge locations.
Other Airlines
Complimentary club access is available specifically for military service members and does not apply to civilian government travelers. Other partner airlines, such as Delta, are considering expanding lounge offerings to military service members in the future.
